Red Poppy Blossom is in the flower series of sculpture featuring a circular weave. Each strip of glass starts out thin in the center of the flower and widens towards the outside fringe. The concentric circles of the weave are noticeably tight from the stamen out to the undulating edge of the circular petals. Red Poppy Blossom features and exciting mix of both deep and bright reds with metallic orange showcasing the flower in full bloom. The sculpture is a wall mounted version of the Red Poppy table sculpture. A painted steel stem with two leaves was added to accommodate a custom order and now an addition limited edition is available.
