Sunflower is the third in the Markow & Norris Flower Series. Over 15 new shades of yellow make up the 64 handmade petals. Some of the petals are coated with a dichroic metallic surface that changes from gold to light green at different angles. The petals are woven in a circular weave. The center is woven with 19 new shades of brown to caramel. Some of the center strips have been exposed to silver leaf to create a fuming reaction. The 3 glass feet are hand cast from Sunflower stems.
