A Good Day represents white clouds in a piercing blue sky. The white clouds mark the first time Markow & Norris used multiple cast glass inclusions. As smooth, three dimensional elements, the cast clouds expanded the texture possibilities for Markow & Norris. Clouds and sky have always been an inspiration to the artists and are evident in much of their work. A Good Day pays homage to the cloud paintings of Georgia O’Keefe, one of a few artist that have had a profound influence on Markow & Norris.
