Rainbow Peace Crane
40″ wing tip to tip, 23″ high, 36″ nose to tail
This nearly two foot tall and almost four foot wide Rainbow Peace Crane is a one of a kind sculpture based on the original white peace cranes debuted by Markow & Norris in New York in 2008. Transitioning through all shades of the rainbow, this is the artists’ most flamboyant origami crane. It is constructed of 5 separate pieces of woven glass and weights 35 lbs. The paper crane is an international symbol of peace, and the most popular and recognized origami shape. Additional colored peace cranes are planned such as Golden, Lime, Cobalt, Ruby, Lavender, Fuschia & Apricot.
