Winter Twilight is the second in a series of four freestanding life-size kimonos representing the four seasons during different times of day. Her color pallet represents the stark and brilliant changing sky-scape of twilight from sunset to the edge of night as well as a snowy frosty wintertime landscape. The kimono is made of 19 separate pieces of woven glass supported by a metal mannequin. At 125 pounds, Winter Twilight kimono is one of the largest woven glass sculptures in the world. Winter Twilight follows Autumn Sunset and is followed in the series by Spring Dawn, and Summer Zenith.
